This comic was illustrated as a submission for the zine I Don’t Do Comics #13, which had the theme of “by the sea.” Although this page wasn’t selected it gave me an opportunity to illustrate a story from my father’s childhood on Vancouver Island. There is a larger work in progress about my families’ time operating a marina in Brentwood Bay during the 1970’s.
The page was inked with a brush on Bristol Board. All fonts are from Blambot and used under the Indie Liscence.
